Dalkurd are undefeated in the last three games and after the summer break, the team has collected four points. It could have been six points, if it wasn’t for a late equalizer from Trelleborg in the last game. The team has however shook it off and during the past week, they have prepared for the away game against Hammarby IF, which will be played on Monday evening.

During the past week, Dalkurd have signed a new goalkeeper, Stefan van der Lei. The 25 year old player from Netherlands, last played at the Eredivisie team Willem II Tilburg, and he is ready to play against Hammarby. Besides that, the Dalkurd squad is almost complete. Oliver Berg is the only player who is missing due to a foot injury.

Monday’s opponents Hammarby IF had a brilliant first half of the season and were in the first place a long time. But a few inferior results lately has seen ”Bajen” drop the first place to their local rivals AIK. During the summer, the team has sold the forward Pa Dibba to China. A huge setback, since he had scored seven goals during the spring.

Monday’s game between Dalkurd and Hammarby will be the first ever, since the teams have never played against each other before. The game will be played at Tele 2 Arena in southern Stockholm and the last time Dalkurd played in the stadium was in May, where they lost to Djurgårdens IF, 0-1.
